Sending Word Files to a PC User

I regularly send an updated and amended Word File to a business client who operates on a PC. Recently she's started complaining the file appears at her end Marked Up ie with every ammendment and correction I've made highlighted in red or blue. I don't even use the feature, and always click on Show Final, rather than With Mark-Up before sending. It's getting embarrassing as she has to constantly do some adjusting before she can read the document. Any ideas why this is happening and what I can do at my end to make sure a clean file arrives?

I've tried cutting and pasting into a brand new document but the same thing happens. I've also sent it to other people on different computers with no problem whatsoever. As it's a business situation, I'm not in a position to question her settings or the system at her end.

BTW, am sending it via Entourage. I used to send it through Mail, and never had problems. Could this be the issue?

Well, apparently you *do* use the feature but simply don't realize that you
are doing so:) Clicking the TRK button in the Status Bar will toggle Track
Changes on/off as will the Shift+Command+E keystroke.

"Show Final" doesn't remove markup from the document nor does it prevent
that markup from displaying when the doc is opened - that you've already
learned:) Once Track Changes has been turned on in a document *all* changes
must be Accepted or Rejected & track Changes turned Off in order to clear
the markup.
