SendKeys

Mandy,

With considerable pain and anguish. Experienced Access users avoid
SendKeys like the plague. The best way to import Excel data via macros
is normally to use the TransferSpreadsheet action.

I agree with you 100%, however it doesn't appear that the Transferspreadsheet
function works really well with excel. It worked perfectly for several
times, then I experienced missing/wrong value get imported. Currenlty, I am
working this issue with another discussion group contact.

Just happen my co-worker experienced a similar transferspreadsheet function
issue before when exporting files to excel. She has suggested me to use the
Sendkeys function instead

I am just trying to explore a different alternative on importing files from
excel to access. It would be a pain to ask my users to import the file
manually over 30 times a month. Any suggestions?

Mandy,

Ok, I can see where you are working with Ken Snell on thisin another
thread. My only suggestion is to keep going with this. The
TransferSpreadsheet action is normally fine. I expect there will be a
logical data-related explanation for the problem you are experiencing,
and Ken will be able to help you with this.
