SendObject - Attachment

Hi,

I want to know if there is a way to copy the mde and make an
attachment to send.

Docmd.SendObject
acTable,"Table1","MicrosoftExcelBiff8(*.xls)","email@hotmail","","","Subject","Body
Text",True,""

I want to replace acTable to Access Database to send a message with an
attachment (Access Database *.mde).

Your help would be much appreciated.

Not possible with SendObject. You would have to use OLE Automation against
an external messaging library like Outlook or CDO.

Even when doing that if you want the attachment to be a copy of the same
file that is running the code, then it is either not possible or at least
ill-advised. Copying an Access file that is in use can result in a copy
that is corrupted.

Curious, why not just send the changes, tables instead of a whole datafile?
Seems like a large waste of bandwidth unless your sending like a catalog of
products. In that case move to your email program and have it send the
file.
