Sennding account only

Hello,

I intresting to add second acount for sending only usage (Only SMTP without
POP).
It is important to disable the pop of this account, becouse of duplication
of mails with primary account.

Thanks,
Kostya.

When adding the POP3/SMTP account, use localhost as the name of the POP3
server. This will ensure that no mishaps happen in regards to message
duplication.

Oops, forgot to mention that since you didn't mention what version of
Outlook you are using that it is difficult to tell you whether to visit the
send/receive settings in Outlook 2002/2003/2007 or ????

In addition to Neo's advice, you can, in the Send/Receive Group Settings,
simply disable the receiving of messages on the second account.

I use 2007 but I will like to know to 2003 too (and if it's possible for
outlook express too)

Thanks!

For Outlook 2003/7, start Outlook and then press CTRL + ALT + S to bring up
the dialog where you can configure send/receive settings.

For OE, go into the account properties and just uncheck the box to include
it receiving/synching mail. I believe it will still send automatically if
there is a network connection.
