Sent box not saving sent messages despite settings to the contrary

My sent box just randomly stopped saving sent messages a few days ago. I
checked the settings and the "save sent mail" box is still checked. People
have been receiving my emails as they aren't stuck in the outbox.

How can I get outlook to start saving my sent messages again?

I am using MS Professional Outlook 2003.

I'm having the same problem and so, like you, would like to know how to save
them as was the case until a few days ago. It does seem as if there is a
problem with the OS and not with our particular use of Vista. I'm using
Hotmail.

I am having the exact same problem with Outlook 2007. Just suddenly, none of
my sent messages are being saved. (Actually, I am not surprised. I have
found Office 2007 a nightmare in every respect. In Microsoft's effort to
"make it easy" they have made it almost impossible to work with. Things I
knew how to do almost automatically in previous versions of Office, takes
literally hours to figure out how to do in Office Professional 2007.)
Anyway, does *ANYBODY* have any idea what the problem is -- and how to
solve it? I don't have another $50 to throw away on MS Office 2007. I am
using Windows XP Home edition.

Windows Mail and Outlook are completely unrelated and even if a solution
were found for Outlook, it would likely not apply for Windows Mail. Ask
Windows Mail questions in microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail

This just started happening to my Outlook 2007 Enterprise edition last
night. Has anyone found a solution. The save coopies of message in Sent Item
folder is checked, but still not saving.
