Sent emails moving slow & staying in outbox for minutes

Since we moved our emails from our in house server to Godaddy's, we have been
having problems with emails sending slow, or just sitting in the outbox.
Also one employee is getting emails bounced back, whereas othaers can email
that same person with no problem. In the email setting on the "advanced tab"
there are 2 boxes for ingoing & outgoing server that say "This server
requires an encrypted connection". THEY ARE NOT CHECKED. SHOULD THEY BE???

Sounds like you should be discussing this with GoDaddy.

If they were not correct you wouldn't be able to connect at all.

Icalled GoDaddy, and they tell me that it's on my end. like my Outlook
setting, or my firewall. We do have a firewall. I failed to mention that
earlier,my boss will not allow that to be removed.

One thing to try is to enable diagnostic logging in Outlook and then examine
the log to see where the most time is taken.
