Sent emails not saved in Sent folder

All of a sudden all the emails in my sent folder disappeared, and new sent
emails are no longer saved to my sent folder. The 'save to the sent folder'
button is checked in Tools/Options.

I don't care to find the old sent messages, but want to be able to save the
new ones in the Sent folder again.
