Sent Emails Unreadable.

Will this issue EVER be fixed?

Emails sent from a Windows Mobile device show up in my Sent folder as having no "To:" name and the subject on all of them is "<no subject>"

About half of my emails are sent from on the road so about half of my Sent emails are unreadable unless I use a web browser (which of course only runs in "lite" mode unless you're running Internet Explorer. Since I'm running on a Mac AND running Entourage, why should I have to do this?)

This issue was present in Entourage 2004 and here we are years later and it's not fixed.

(Works great in both Apple Mail and Thunderbird...but not in Microsoft's own email app)

Can we expect an update on this? It would be most appreciated. Otherwise, we're switching my entire school to Apple Mail.

Thanks.

Please be sure to let Microsoft know you'd like to see this fixed in
future versions by using the Help --> Send Feedback mechanism in any
Office application.

can you copy the source of one of these messages and forward it to this
thread so I can take a look?

In Entourage 2008, go to 'Source' under the 'Message' menu and copy the
resultant window.

Just FYI, the Base64 blobs in the message you forwarded contain the email
message with some of the email addresses.

This is a known issue that was not fixed in Entourage 2008

It's long overdue, IMHO.

And notice that the KB article is getting close to two years old.

So that only reiterates that MS has known that the issue has existed for a long time and nothing's been done.

OMG! This bug renders my iPhone for email USELESS -or- renders my use of Entourage useless. Being able to use my desktop client to read through old emails I have sent is critical (and I suspect a common requirement for many professionals).

How sly of microsoft - a way to keep professionals (business users) from using the iPhone.

Yeah, kind of embarrassing...even though it's MS' fault, everyone will say
it's because Apple sux.
You know it, I know it, duck.

Here is a quick fix to the blank “sent emails” seen on Entourage. In setting your mobile device (iphone forexample) set the device to automatically bcc yourself. when you send an email from the iphone you will receive a fully readable and sortable email in your inbox coming from you. Once in few days you can sort inbox emails by the “From” field, highlight all the emails you received from yourself ( to highlight few emails you click on the first and then hold the shift button and click on the last), then drag the bunch to the Sent Items. The nice thing is that when it moves it to the Sent box it sorts the emails by the names you sent it to first and not your name. Then you can also delete the blank emails in the Sent box to avoid the duplicates. Hope this helps.
