Sent Items empty

My sent items folder is empty. I checked under
options/email options 'save copies if sent messages in
send items folder' is checked. I don't have rules or
anything running.

All my send items disapeared also when i am sending a new
message, the new message is also not saved.

What version of outlook are you using, and what type of mail server (pop or
imap)?
