Sent Items Folder

I am using Outlook 2007 and does not have a "sent items" folder in my mail
folders. I also do not have the option to choose "favorites folders" under
view/navigation pane. My "save copies of messages in Sent Items" is also
ticked.

Can anybody please assist?
