Whenever I reply to a message in my Inbox (IMAP account), the reply goes to
my Inbox instead of to the Sent Items folder. I then have to manually move
the item to the Sent Items folder. What's more, even though I move the
message to the Sent Items folder, it won't delete until I close Outlook, open
it back up, and delete it again. I'd appreciate any suggestions.
As a point of reference (having read other entries in this forum which aim
to resolve similar problems), I backed up my data then deleted my profiles
and accounts and created them all again.
As a secondary issue, I didn't like the way in which Outlook, in the
Navigation Pane under Mail-All Mail Folders, created a "Personal Folders"
category (including folders called Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items, etc.), then a
separate category for my personal account. This is very confusing because
sometimes I can't determine to which inbox the incoming e-mails are being
directed. (Might this also have to do with the first issue I mentioned
above?) Is there a way of consolidating these two items so I don't have this
problem? I tried deleting one (or maybe both, I can't remember--too
confusing) but wasn't able since it was identified as the primary account.
