Sent mail not leaving outbox

I'm having an error message when I try to send an e-mail. The mail gets
sent, however does not leave my outbox and I get an error message that states
"Some errors ocurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review the
list of errors below for more details." There is also nothing for me to even
review below. It's blank in the errors tab.

I've also found that if I don't delete that e-mail I sent earlier from my
outbox, it will continue to send it.

If anyone can help me, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Disable AV or Firewall integration with outlook then close and reopen Outlook.

How do I do that? Sorry, I'm not a computer expert.

I was having no issues with any firewalls before though, so I am not sure
that this is the answer but I am willing to give it a shot.

Uninstall your AV program and reinstall it without the mail scanning
feature.

I do not have an AV program scanning my e-mail. Are there any other issues
that can cause this to happen?

I am using outlook express. I tried following the directions, but could not
find the box to check for enabling the diagnostic logging. Did I miss
something?

Yea, you missed the fact that this newsgroup is for Office Outlook. We
don't handle Outlook Express here. Visit

I had the same problem with Outlook Express 6 and couldn't find a solution to
it anywhere. But it seems to be simply that there were just too many emails
in my Sent items - I had about 3,000+. I deleted a large number of these and
the emails started sending fine again.
