Separate Task Objects for Different Modes?

In switching modes (e.g. fixed duration to fixed units), I sometimes see
splits appear or disappear. If the mode is switched back, the situation is
reversed. Clearly MSP has remembered dates where splits occurred. Is this
alternative/mode dependent information available via VBA (in a separate task
object, for example)?

Thank you,

No. Any changes would always be calculated and based on current settings.
For example if you have auto levelling on or not.

It looks to me that evidence suggests otherwise. If changes are simply
calculated based on current settings, how do splits that have disappeared
when the mode is changed reappear with the same number of splits and the same
start and finish dates for each split when the mode is changed back. This
information must be retained somewhere during the time that the set mode
shows no splits (and the Task data shows only on split part).

For some reason, it is recalculating a split. Select Tools, Resource
levelling and check you are on manual levelling.
