Separating multiple MSN POP 3 Email accounts

D

Duncan Fowler

I have Entourage 2008, Version 12.2.0.

I have 3 MSN Windows Live Hotmail accounts, 4 Apple IMAP (.ME and .Mac)
accounts) and an additional POP 3.

It is important that I keep them separate and not get them all mixed
together in the "In" box. I will also need to routinely check the Junk
folder for messages put in there in error.

Are there rules that I can set up that will put these into separate folders
and allow me to create sub folders under each of them?

Is it safe to assume that I will be able to keep the .Mac and the .me
accounts as they are?
Or is Entourage not supporting IMAP in the future?

Is there a way I can separate the MSN and the 3rd POP3 account using rules?

Thanks

Microsoft has made no announcements about discontinuing support for
IMAP. This is still an actively use E-mail protocol and I don't see it
going away any time soon.

You can go to Tools --> Rules... to create rules to move messages to
specific folders if this is what you wish to do. Have the rule act on
"Any To Recipient" or "Account" depending on your needs.

Hope this helps!
