Separating the data in one column into two columns

I have a workbook containg 800+ names in it in which the
name column contains both first and last names. Can the
data be divided into first and last and put into 2
sepatate columns?

highlight column, select DATA, TEXT TO COLUMNS, ensure
DELIMITED is selected. Click on NEXT. Tick SPACE. Click
on NEXT. Click on FINISH
