seperate folders

Is it necessary to save each file type i.e. graphics, web
pages, etc. in a seperate folder for ease of loading the
file once published? I can't locate any reference to it
in the FP 2002 book.
Thanks.

No, it is not necessary, as long as all files, etc. are within a single web.

How you structure the web, it up to you, but it can be easier for
maintenance if you do store similar type of content in their own folders,
such as images, in the images folder, pdfs in a pdf folder, etc.

Hi d,

For the most part using folders is more of an organizational situation and
has very little to do with the speed in which a page loads. As time goes by
and your web gets bigger..having certain images and pages in specific
folders..makes them easier to find.
