Seperate Sheets in Seperate Windows

Gary

Hi Everybody,

Having a good time?

I have two monitors and would like to be able to open Excel-Sheet-One on one
monitor and Excel-Sheet-Two on the other.

I'm using Excel 2003 and Windows XP Pro (SP2).

I have checked the box in Tools > Options > View > Windows In Taskbar.

Checking that DOES make each excel sheet get it's own instance on the
task-bar. But even then, if I go to Excel-Two and move that window to the
second monitor...then when I click on Excel-One, it is in the same window,
on the second monitor.

MS-Word is able to do this how I want.

Example:
* I open Word-Two and position that window on the 2nd monitor.
* I open Word-One. It gets it's own instance and I place that on the first
monitor.
* By clicking on Word-One or Word-Two in the task bar, I see them in their
seperate places.

Thanks for any help or suggestions,
Gary

Excel and Word are quite difference. The only thing you can do is enlarge
the Excel application window so that it covers both monitors. Then create a
second window (Window, New Window), tile the windows (Window, Arrange,
Vertical), and activate the sheet you want in each window.

Jim, Dave,

Thanks for the answer. The "MS-Word" way would be nicer, but this will work.

Again, many Thanks,
Gary
