serial letter

Hi all

I'd like to make a serial letter which contains a diffrent picture for
each letter. This picture is selected by the member number. For
example:

MemberID Name Adress

1 Buchanan D. Melroseplace 5

The Memberfile is an excel file with all adresses of the members....

For each member i scanned the foto and called it MemberID.jpg for
example:

1.jpg

Now my question. How can I automate my serial letter to remove the
memberId by picture... if possible it must be possible to remove it
only in a special area. That means if i make a serial letter or serial
adressfile (perhaps for membercard) it must be possible to have the
memberID and in another field i have the member foto...

Would be very pleased if someone can help me with this problem...
cause i don't want to make 800 membercards manually ;-)
