Serial# problem

I've got an iMac that had a previous installation of OfficeX on it. I then
removed it and installed an Excel.X with a different serial number.
Meanwhile, I installed the OfficeX onto another computer. Now the new
installation says that the serial number is being used on another computer.
Now, I DID use the uninstall when I removed OfficeX.

So, how can I reset the serial #'s so that I can get this straightened out?
