Moin.

I am online at GPRS. The send/receive schedule is set to every 2
minutes. I want to send an email with attachment of 84 kB. To send this
emails takes more than 2 minutes. The account ist set to POP/SMTP.

If the receiving of new emails start before the 84 kB email is
completely sent, a server error occures and the email has not been sent.

This misbehaviour did not not occure when I've used Mail.app.

What can I do to send large emails without influence of short
receive/send intervals?

TIA and kind regards. Friedrich

well, you could turn off your automatic send/receive schedule. Or get a
UMTS phone ^8)

However, it seems like this problem would affect anyone who sends a big mail
atachment shortly befor a scheduled send/receive. I haven't heard of this
problem before. So perhaps there is something unusual about the mail server?
Are you using the same POP and SMTP server as when you were using Mail.app?

But I don't have any other ideas.
