serious problem with installer on Send/Receive

ok, this is the old Windows Installer problem, times ten. i've installed
Outlook 2007 Enterprise after i tried Small Business Trial; now every email
that comes in starts Windows Installer (seems like twice for each email)...

I've tried a complete uninstall and reinstall of anything related to
MSOffice, SQl Server, etc... more than once.

I've tried Windows Installer Clean Up several times for ALL Office apps.

I've installed the new Installer 4.5...

there's GOT TO BE something else i'm not aware of. Someone please clue me
in???

Did you uninstall the trial edition before installing your retail version?
Have you tried a new mail profile?

what's a "mail profile"?

yes, i've uninstalled everything i can - i'd wipe everything an reinstall
Vista if i weren't so busy...
