We are looking at the options of getting Project Server 2002 or 2003
setup. We currently have about 15 people using Project 2002 Standard.
It is my understanding that standard does not work with Server 2003 but
does work with Server 2002. So if we go the 2003 route, we'd have to
buy everyone a license for Project 2003 Pro.
It would be much more cost effective for us to just buy Server 2002 but
I am having trouble finding much information about 2002 on Microsoft's
site. What I'm looking for is a good feature comparison of Server 2002
vs. Server 2003. I'm especially interested in the differences in
Project Web Access. We currently have Windows SharePoint Services
setup but I can't find much info on whether 2002 works with that.
Can anyone who has used both versions tell me what we would be gaining
by paying the extra money for 2003?
Thanks,
Tim
