We're just implementing task updates using actual hours. Testing it has given
me some interest results. I have fixed unit effort driven task with 0%
complete. If I update actuals to half the amount of effort, the result don't
always 50% complete:
My Project shows 0% complete on all tasks. Then I enter the actuals @ 10
hours each on 2 20 hour tasks, on of the effort and it shows 50% complete for
1 and 2 in my approval task update screen. So far so good.
When I click approval preview, it shows 76% complete for task 1 and 55 % for
task 2.
