Server Authenticated Users Can't Access Public Documents

M

Masood

Hi,

I posted this question a couple of times, but the
suggestions did not help :(.

When users with a Server Authenticated account (not
Windows Authenticated) attempt to access public documents
(under Documents link), they get a message "You have
logged on using your Microsoft Project Server account.
Micrsoft Project Server accounts are not automatically
given access to documents and issues. If you continue a
logon dialog box will be displayed ...".

I have added these user ID (Project Server) as well as NT
login to SharePoint Team Services roles to no avail. Note
that users with Windows Authenticated account have no
problem Acessing links under Documents.

More info: The server URL is added to Trusted site and
the "Automatic Logon with current User ID and
Password"option is checked.

Thanks in advance.

Masood:

Local machine accounts are ones created on a specific server, not the
domain.
