SERVER CONFIGURATION (MS PROJECT 98)

Hi, my organisation is working with Proj98. We load the
files in our SQL server and allow PM to update to the
database.

Problem: We experience very poor processing speed when
working with these files (typical size of the files:
project file (about 200 tasks; 80% double-assigned
resources for each tasks)linked with a resource file
(about 250 resources))

Anyone can advise what is the minimum requirement for
server? How about the recommended configuration?

PS: If anyone got the configuration for server 2002, can
provide that for reference?
