Stefan:
THANK YOU. That solved the problem -- I deleted the W3SVC104 folder from
my computer and the site published perfectly -- publishing took almost 3
hours as it published the entire site.
Now, let me ask you another question: Should there be a stats folder on
my computer?
I use MS FP 2003 to maintain five web sites. Last year, everything I
owned was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina. A few months ago I purchased a
new computer and have been installing software on it -- I lost all my
original application disks, also.
After installing MS FP 2003, I did not have copies of my web sites --
so -- I opened the remote site in MS FP and published from the remote
site to my computer. As a result, I have a stats folder for each web site
on my computer. I checked and one of them has 48 files and takes up 18 MB
of disk space.
Should these stats folders be on my computer, or, should I delete them and
leave them on the remote server?
Thanks.
