Server Error: Cannot open file "xxx" for read/write

Frontpage 2002 - When I try to publish a file with changes
(added a hit counter) I get this popup Server Error:
Cannot open file "xxx" for read/write. I'm lost as to
who, what or why. I have admin priv and update all the
time. At present some web pages give me the error and
others post/publish just fine. Thanks, Greg
