I have a website I have been maintaining with FrontPage XP. The site is
maintained and revised locally then published to an ISP. I now need to move
the maintenance to a new machine - Windows XP PRO with FrontPage 2003. I am
able to log into the site at the ISP and begin to publish that local site
back to a site on the new computer (remote). The FrontPage Extensions on the
new machine are set to >1000 pages, the Server Time out is set to 900
seconds.
As the process continues the listing of the pages on the ISP site takes a
significantly long time, then when pages begin to be copied I get a Message
Box Error: Server Error: Client Closed Connection. When I examine the
publishing log this is the error highlighted in red.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Even direction to a newsgroup
where I might find the answer would help.
I am assuming that the Client being referred to here is the NEW machine I am
copying the site to ...
Thanks in advance....
