In one of our labs, we're running Windows XP Professional 2002 SP2 with
Office FrontPage 2003 (11.6552.8107). On these computers, when we try to
create a new one page web site in one of several drives on the network using
the One Page Web Site template, we get the message: "Server error: There is
no Web named "DriveLetter:\\Folder\Subfolder\Subfolder." In another of the
labs we’re running FrontPage 2003 (11.6552.6568) and not having this error.
The error seems to be very similar to the one described in the Knowledge
Base article at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/818050 , which deals with FP
2000 & 2002/Office XP, but we're not running Office XP. When I tried to
install the recommended service pack anyways (because I'm that desperate), an
error message appeared that stated that the expected version of the product
was not found (KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/837826) – which
makes sense because we’re not running Office XP. I’ve run MS Update and it
has not corrected the problem, either. What else can I do?
