Server error

i've been working with my new website and changing pages a lot with no
problem publishing the changed pages. but lately, when i publish
changed
pages only, a box appears to tell me: Server error: The page (such and
such)
has been modified by irenejim (us) on (such & such date)23:31:02 -
0700.

when i click 'ok' in the error box, i'm taken right back to the
beginning
of the publish box but can not get passed the error code box or publish
the
changes.

reinstalled the front page extensions at my web host but still get
error
message when attempting to publish any changes in my site files.

Can find nothing about this at Microsoft help & support for FP 2000.

my solution for now is to publish by overwriting everything at my
site....very time consuming!
thanks for whatever help you can offer.......

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download FP Cleaner ( with Expression Web Designer and
SharePoint Designer support )
Download links are at the bottom of the page.
Run the functions that clear:
The Hidden Temporary files.
The Hidden Cache (*.web) files.

Then open the remote site and recalculate hyperlinks.
Close the remote and open the local and recalculate hyperlinks.

See if it helps.
