Server Rules/Email Notification

I have setup server rules to move messages to different folders. However,
when Exchange Server 2007 moves the messages, I don't receive a "New Email"
alert from Outlook 2007, Entourage 2008, or my WM6 phone. So I setup my
Exchange information on my friend's iPhone, and it notifies me with the
default new mail tone, but it doesn't display the number of new messages.
When I look in at the folders in all four client environments, the folders
show the number of new messages. I am just not getting any alerts. Is this
a bug in Exchange, Outlook 2007, Entourage 2008, WM6, and/or iPhone?

When I had client rules from Outlook 2007 moved the messages, all the alerts
worked fine.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a way to make the Outlook clients trigger an
email alert when the server moves the mail to a folder other than the inbox?

Also, I meant to tag your post as helpful, but I fat-fingered it. Sorry
about not properly recognizing your assistance.

tiggered when outlook downloads mail to the inbox.

No. You'd need to use a client rule and have outlook move them as it
downloads them.
