Server "" timed out error - New install

I have FP2000 installed on a networked PC, and it works just fine. I
can access a web stored on a file server. I do not use(or to my
knowledge am using) PWS.

Recently, I've had to share some web maintenance duties, so I've
installed FP2000 on another networked PC. But this machine always
gets the "Server "" timed out error" when trying to access the Web on
the file server.

Both PCs are Win98, Server is NT4.0. Nothing fancy here. Everything
I've read about this error says something about PWS, but I'm not using
that. Re-installed FP twice with no change.

Any ideas?? Thanks.

Actually, it's only Office97 on that PC. The only 2000 component is
FrontPage. That version is SR-1. I'm open to suggestions. :)

Yes, the PC that works is using FP2000, SR-1. As far as I can tell,
both PC's are set up the same, with the same software versions. Quite
the stumper.
