Server to my computer download and Access

I got my frontpage website up. It has a form set to be sent to a hosting
server. I believe that creates an .fpdb file (Access). Now I would suppose
that I need to download that .fpdb file to my computer, so I can then safely
open it in Access. I obviously want to see and work with the form results.
Now here are the questions. Even if I set my own computer to show all hidden
files, why when I use FTPclient on the server does it #1 Show on my computer
more files than I can see on my own computer. Example, it shows a "Documents"
and a "My Documents" file. Even with a search I cannot find that "My
documents" file anywhere on my computer. I tried all off this with two
different computers running two different MS Windows #2 When I make a new
file with the FTPclient on my computer's side, it shows it in FTPclient as
being there but not so on my computer. #3 When I download the .fpdb file it
shows it to, but not so. #4 Is it the .fpdb file that I need to transfer, to
then be able to open it in Access.
#5 I would like to keep on the server the forms as they come in. Once I
start, on my computer, I would ofcourse like to add Access, forms, queries,
reports, and all that good stuff. Is there a easy way later to import,
download, or whatever the right terminology is, only the changed tables,
without it changing my basic setup of the queries etc. Sorry I am totaly new
at this.

marc:
I'm afraid the way you've rambled on and typed everything into one paragraph
makes it very hard to understand what you're saying or what you're asking.

The only question I can answer at this point is that fpdb is a folder and
the Access database would be in that folder. The Access database would have
a file extension of .mdb, for example, mydatabase.mdb

Could you ask your questions again? Maybe start with one question, and when
that's answered, ask the next one?

OK. How come when I go to my hosting server, and download with their
FTPclient my feedback.mdb it doesn't show up in my computer. Even though that
the FTPclient, shows it to be on my computer. (I did turn on all the hidden
folder, on my computer).

Yes, that is where I did the search, nothing there, and by the way I have
done this on two different computers, with two different Windows versions.

First, make sure that you are able to see the entire filename, including the
extension, on your PC:
http://www.indezine.com/products/other/windows/showfileextensions.html

Then use your FTP client again to get feedback.mdb from the web site and put
it on your desktop.

I've been able, with the help of server host, to download my feedback.mdb a
different way (not using there FTPclient). So part off my problem is solved.
However when I open Feedback.mdb with MS Access, it shows me a empty table,
eventhough I have already filled out feedback forms many times via the
internet. Note: I don't know if this is worthy of mentioning but when in my
documents folder I click on the feedback.mdb , it ofcourse, automatically
turns on MS Access, but in my documents folder, it changes the feedback.mdb
icon into 2 icons 1st is the same, 2nd is a feedback.ldb with locked icon. Am
I supposed to be able to open that locked icon, and how?

With respect to the .ldb file
- Do not open or delete it

Any time you open an Access mdb, Access temporarily creates a lock file to manage the mdb
