Service Desk Edition

When I bought my last desktop I bought Microsoft Office as well and they
installed it for me, I not notice that the box says "Service Desk Edition".
What is this? and What is the difference between this edition and a regular
edition? Is there a difference? Can I still install it on 3 different
computers?

The Service Desk Edition is identical to the retail packaged version, just
simpler packaging.

The different packaging is because it was packaged for retailers' "Service
Desks" to provide the same product in a smaller box to be a Retail product
advertised to the public at service counters for customers to upgrade with.
