I have migrated our intranet site from a windows 2000 server running IIS 5 to
a Windows 2003 server running IIS 6 using microsofts migration tool. I Now
when I try to open the site in Frontpage 2003 I keep getting the error: The
server extensions were unable to access the file service.lck. Please check
file permissions. I have checked permissions and whether or not the file was
read only. I have also deleted the file. I have searched extensively on the
internet to try to fix it. Everything that I have tried does not work. I
migrated the site to the D:\ drive. When I try to open a site on the C:\
drive I don't get the error. So I am not sure why I would continue to get
this error. Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance.
