service pack 1-3

i have win xp media center and office xp pro with frontpage.

i wanted to use outlook for my email with gmail but it didnt work so the
help groups told me to install service pack 3.

I downloaded it and it said unable to find expected version...

Then i tried to download the full version of the service pack. It said the
same thing as the client version.

Afther that i tried service pack 2. It said the same thing as service pack 3.

Then i tried the service pack 1 update it said "Office Hotfix Installer
encountered a problem".

Please respond to help me.
