Service Pack 2 causes an error: can't display clipart

I

Ian Wood

Office 2003: Noticed the new office service pack and ran the install. All
went fine.

Then started up word and promptly received the following:

"Can't display Clip Art. This feature is not available. To make this feature
available please run setup again, select add or remove features, and change
the feature to run from my computer or run from CD/Network."

It happens numerous times. I don't have the Clip Art option installed and
don't want it. I have tried to run setup again but it wanted the install CD
which is in my office in London (I am currently in LA for the next two
weeks).

I have seen messages from other users with the same problem. What is the
issue here and when/how will it be fixed?

At the moment you will have to install the clipart gallery.

Go to Add/Remove programs in Control Panel
Select your office 2003 version and do change
Once Maintanance mode Options is up, select Add or Remove Features and do next
In the Custom Setup User Interface (UI), select Choose advance customizatio
nof applications and hit next.
In the Advanced Customizatio UI expand Office Shared Features and Select
Clip Organizer to Run from My computer
hit Update

Thanks

Joseph
