Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Visio 2002

If you try to apply the kb830202 service pack on a French administrative install (visio 2002), there is an error message !!

In fact, the SHORTFILENAMES parameter doesn't work with a French version of this product !!...

Is there any solution ? We have to use this parameter !!... I would like to have a good response, different from : "The parameter SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE is not required because long file names are supported normally. So, better
avoid that switch to prevent the error message. For details, check the visio 2002 resource kit." !!.

For VISIO problems, visit a VISIO newsgroup.
For problems with French VISIO, visit

microsoft.public.fr.visio

the "fr" means "French" -- the people there, because they are using French
version of VISIS, will be more likely to know of a workaround than the
people in an Office newsgroup.
