One of my clients just installed it and found that users must accept the EULA
again, presumably in order to download new components required by PS2.

So far we've isolated one issue: SP2 breaks filters set on Resource Center
views if they use fields not added to the view. To correct this issue, you
must add the filter fields to the view explicitly.

It has caused havoc with my RBS and other outline codes, so beware. This
issue remains unsolved at least where we are concered.

Can you provide any more specifics, Kevin? This is very interesting, and I'm
sure a lot of people would like to know more about what happened with your
installation.

Reid,

I have posted quite a few details, see "Attension Redmond..." or try a
search on SP2 I have a couple of threads running but nothing to help yet.
Hope you can provide some insight. Also see "RBS outline code scrambled..."

Thanks

After opening the enterprise resource pool I am unable to change the RBS
field for any users? When I select the pull down the outlines are not what
they should be as ordinally inputted into the RBS. I then open the enterprise
global template and select customize fields. On first try it also is
similarly scrambled. I Click on a couple of + and - signs close it and reopen
and now the RBS is as it should be. I try and go back to the enterprise
resource pool and RBS codes are still in the messed up state.

In PWA resource center the RBS outline code is fine and I can edit a
resource from here into the proper RBS breakdowns.

This all started once I applied the service pack 2.

FYI, I have the same problem with any outline codes that have more than 3
levels in it.

1) Have you tried to restore your enterprise global with a pre-SP2 version?
Yes, and it the problem is still there.

2) Does it happen when you create new outline codes with >3 levels?
I had another multi level outline code called application for tasks, it also
exhibit this bizarre behavior. Since I did not have any significant values
published against it I blew away the one outline code and created another
like the original and it appears to behave properly. I really do not want to
blow away the RBS and start over as I will have to redo all 350 RBS codes to
every individual.

3) Did you apply SP2 to server and client machines?
Yes

4) Is it happening on any client machine you use to access the RBS?
Yes it appears screwed up fashion on any client machine.

Kevin, have you had any luck resolving this issue? I installed sp2 on our
dev machine and it's exhibiting the same behavior as yours. Thanks.

Rodney,

No! and bless you having the same problem for a while there I was suppose to
be a nut case. :)

According to Gary, Microsoft is looking into it.

P.S. Don't try and correct the RBS, it really OK it just you can't use that
field to edit the resource pool. So what I do is add a person who is already
in the correct RBS location in the pool add my new user below him or her and
copy the RBS field one from the other or edit direct in the PWA edit fields.
