service pack 3 cd

My hard drive crashed so I am reloading MS Office XP Professional. MS sent
me the service pack 3 CD which loaded fine the first time (as I recall).
However, this time when I insert the CD it doesn't automatically load. The
CD contains two folders: fullfile and standard. When I opened the fullfile
and tried to download the file it asked me for the destination for the
extracted files. I don't know the destination of if I am doing this
correctly. My second question is whether I should download the fullfile or
standard folders, or both. Bottomline, how do I download the service pack 3
CD correctly.

Try first re-installing Office XP from the original installation CDs. The
when you use the Service Pack CD, the installer will know where to place the
files. The Service Pack CD contains only the update, not the full Office XP.
