When I try to install SP3, it tells me to insert the Windows installation CD.
I do that, and then it says it can't find the path to sberet.msi. Any ideas?

Read the message again... it's probably asking for your Office
CD, not your Windows CD.

The message says to install the Windows XP Small Business Edition CD. My
disck is the Home Edition. Is that the problem? Does the "sb" in sberet.msi
mean Small Business?

Read the message again. Hint: there is no such thing as "Windows
XP Small Business Edition".

No but there is an Office XP Small Business edition, and that contains an
sbret.msi ( sbret = Small Business RETail) and seems to be OEM only
What version of Office do you really have ( see in config panel ->
add/remove programs or in any Office app help->about)
