I just bought Access 2007, and I am trying to work with an Access database I
built in Access 2000 (2003?). A bunch of my queries are not opening -- I
get an error message "Syntax error in PARAMETER clause." I have tried
downloading and installing Service Pack 1, since a google search on this
error message led me to the Microsoft sites indicating that the service pack
updates solves this problem. But I've installed the service pack, and I'm
still getting the error message. The queries giving me trouble are queries I
made using the query design window -- I do not know how to program in SQL.
Is there another explanation for these queries not working in Access 2007,
when they worked fine in Access 2003? Is it possible that the Service Pack
didn't install correctly? Access 2007 will let me open the SQL code behind
the queries I built, and I could post that code here if that would help you
smart people answer my questions.
