I have Windows XP 5.1 (Build 2600.xps2.030422-1633:
Service Pack 1) My question is that my Office Updates and
Paches recommends me to download SP1. Since it is
already installed I can not download it because of a
Version descrepancy. How can I get the latest updates
like service pack 2 ? Do I even need those ?

I think you are mistaking the windows xp service pack with
the office service pack, two different programs..
