Hi I have Officexp small business version 2002 installed in the PC,I am being
asked to instal Service Pack 3,after initialisation, the install starts then a
window asks for the Outlook disc 2002 to be opened, the only 2002 disc I have
is Office xp version 2002,and this is rejected, the actual error message says:
Insert MS Outlook 2002,the path to MS outlook cannot be found, try to find
the install package OUTRET.MSI.
I've been in touch with a Robear from xp general he's been trying to
help, another guy from XP General and he suggests to contact MS Office
NEWSGROUP,hope I have got the correct group,I have had another error message
this was:
error 1706 c:\Program Files\MO\ Office10\1033\setup.hlp.
Can you guys help with this one.

Hi Aga,

Check in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel to see if you have a separate Microsoft Office Outlook program listed. If
so, you may want to uninstall it and use the one from your MS Office XP. OutRet.msi is a standalone MS Outlook install.

As with any major update, be sure to back up your files first.

Hi Aga,

In Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel, bring up your Microsoft Office XP product (you'll need the CD) and in change
the Feature set so that Outlook 2002 that is part of MS Office XP is set to 'run from my computer'
