Set an object variable to the vb editor itself

The Excel help refers to a vbe property of an application object and
implies that there is a vbe object that you can address using that
property.

I don't seem be able to find any references to a vb editor object
itself or its associated properties or methods. Have I missed
something?

I would like to review automatically all the code contained within the
modules of an excel project and report every instance of the use of a
particular propeerty or method - say "CurrentRegion". Ideally the
report would specify the name of the module, the name / control and
event reference of the procedure and the line number in the code.

Has anyone done anything similar?
