set auto shape defaults doent work!

when you right click on an object there is an aoption ti set autoshape
defaults which doesnt work! highly annoying considering the auotshapes
current default where the tecxt has a huge border around it is really
annoying!

Setting the default applies to the *current* document. Open your
template as a document (via File | Open), make the modification there,
and then save. For blank documents, the template is normal.dot.
