Hi,
Is it possible to set the Data Validation in a cell in an excel
spreadsheet from Access? It would need to work in all versions
97-2007.
Briefly what I am trying to do is create an excel spreadsheet
containing product data and pricing from Access. I have a nice working
procedure that does just about everything I need except I would like
to set the Title and Input Message in the Data Validation of each
cell.
As the spreadsheet is becoming too large (way to many columns for any
sane individual to look at) I want to put the Product Code in the
Title and the Product Description in the Input Message. This way the
user can see the product description by clicking on their product code
except of having to drift back and forth through numerous columns of
data.
A nice idea if I get it to work!
