Hi All and happy new year;

i need full control when i open the database. i prefer not to have to enter
a password but it's not a big deal if doing so makes it easer to accomplish
what i need.
2 users at my location need only to be able to input, delete, edit data and
print via forms,

all OTHER users, either local or remote (the database file will be on a
network drive, NOVELL os on all servers, about 100 different remotr servers,
with all workstations running windows 2000 or xp ) should ONLY be able to
view and print via all forms and options on those forms and of course be
resticted from changing db structure, modify forms, ect. these OTHER users
should NOT be able to input, delete or edit data.

thanks

also, maybe i should have stated that some (most) of the form run macros on
open and or close that update, edit, or delete records in tables used to set
criteria for queries; these macros need to continue functioning for all
users. no data should be added, updated, or deleted directly by the OTHER
users.

thanks
