Set the (first line) indent automatically on caption style

I need to create a macro code with the following requirements:

I got a large document with a lot of tables. For the table captions I
use a custom table caption style. This custom style features a hanging
indent (and a corresponding tab) of 2 Centimeters so that in case of a
very long caption that takes up two lines everything gets nicely
aligned. Example:

Table 1.1: Comparision between the radioactive fallout of the
Hiroshima atomic bomb explosion versus the recent French
atomic bomb trials in ...

Normally one has to put the cursor after the colon and hit the tab key
so that the first line gets nicely aligned at, say, 2 Centimeters.

Supposing I have got , say 10 tables, in my document with the
corresponding table captions and none of the first line indents have
been set by hitting the tab key after the colon.
Now my question. Is there a way to tell word to go to each caption
style, move the cursor till it hits the colon, hit the tab key after
the colon (the indent gets set) and then move forward to the next and
loop through all the existing custom table caption styles there are.

Help is appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Regards,

Andreas
