Set the zoom level of a document linked from a web page

Confused person

From an Excel application I have a set of hyperlinks that open single web
pages (*.mht) which contain text instructions. These also contain hyperlinks
to either .PDF, .DOC or .GIF files.

What defines the zoom level at which the final linked .DOC file is
displayed? Also, why would only the Reviewing toolbar be displayed and how
can I stop it from being?

Any help would be gratefully received.
